Chants & Poems

Say these chants enough and your kiddos will know exactly what they mean for them to do! This is a great interactive way to get your kiddos on board the same boat as you when transitioning in or out of the classroom!

Transitions Songs

A great idea to try with transitions is to put them to music! Make your clean up time more fun by playing the Mission Impossible theme song. Or Harry Belfonte's song "Jump in the Line" for lining up to leave the classroom. You can use almost any song or part of a song for this easy transition technique. Using specific songs and playing them for specific tasks will help your students know what to do when each song is played without you telling them what to do every time and make mundane tasks seem so much more fun for your students!

Call Backs

Call backs are an awesome way to grab your students attention and get them ready to focus on the next set of directions or activities!
